General Notes
A very showy, hardy little wattle for the garden.
For the layperson the accompanying information describing what is taken as the leaf of the plant, is really a flattened stem or phyllode.
Propagation Notes
Hot Water Stratified Seed
Collect pods and store in a paper bag and the seed will fall out as the pods dry. Clean. Store in a cool dark place.

Premium Seed Raising Mix
3 parts Premium Seed Raising Mix + 1 part Washed Sand.
Pour just off the boil, hot water over the seed. Allow to soak overnight. Strain off the water and pat dry the seed between paper towels. Sow fresh seed, cover with thin layer of soil and then fine gravel, keep moist, place outside in a warm sunny position.
